So, I've been going to uni for two years now and every day I go there I walk past the stunning Paisley Abbey.
I've always been really interested in visiting the Abbey because there is so much history, beauty and mysticism about it (think of a cold winter's morning with the fog floating around the stone and the dim glow of streetlamps, yep. Very picturesque.).
I found out that you can go for guided tours on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2pm from their website here and so it was just a matter of finding someone to go with, I knew my dad was always interested in the Abbey too so that was easy, and finding a day to go!
I decided that I would video our little trip and put it all together and upload it to YouTube and thought I would just share it here too.
The tour was really interesting and full of information which was absolutely brilliant! Our tour guide, a lovely man called Robin Craig, showed us around the full Abbey and all of its nooks and crannies.
You can't help but be drawn in by the beautiful stained glass windows and rich history.
If you ever find yourself in the area, Paisley Abbey is an absolute must!
