A Coffee Morning & Visiting Paisley Abbey

So, I've been going to uni for two years now and every day I go there I walk past the stunning Paisley Abbey.

I've always been really interested in visiting the Abbey because there is so much history, beauty and mysticism about it (think of a cold winter's morning with the fog floating around the stone and the dim glow of streetlamps, yep. Very picturesque.).

I found out that you can go for guided tours on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2pm from their website here and so it was just a matter of finding someone to go with, I knew my dad was always interested in the Abbey too so that was easy, and finding a day to go!

I decided that I would video our little trip and put it all together and upload it to YouTube and thought I would just share it here too.

The tour was really interesting and full of information which was absolutely brilliant! Our tour guide, a lovely man called Robin Craig, showed us around the full Abbey and all of its nooks and crannies.

You can't help but be drawn in by the beautiful stained glass windows and rich history.

If you ever find yourself in the area, Paisley Abbey is an absolute must!

Game Changing Skincare Products For Acne Prone Skin

When I was referred to the dermatologist for my ever worsening acne two years ago, they pretty much gave me a lifetime supply of La Rosche Posay products. I think it's fair to say that you can definitely believe the hype when it comes to these products.

For me, this one, La Rosche Posay Effaclar Duo [+], ACTUALLY works. I've been using it for about six months now as a moisturiser after I've washed and toned my face. It's rally hydrating and so gives a good base for your makeup as well if you like that glowy look. As for the results to my skin, GREAT. This helps to balance out my combination skin, reduce previous spot redness all while preventing further breakouts.

If you're going to buy anything from La Rosche Posay, buy Effaclar Duo [+].

Of course I still get some breakouts though, that's normal! So when the spots attack, I use the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. This basically does what it says on the bottle. When you see a spot coming, take a cotton bud and dip it into the solution and dab it onto your spot. I normally do this before I go to bed at night and wake up seeing results.

This one has really helped me and I've now got my sister on to it too!

I hope this brings some help your way!

P.S. I buy these skincare products from Amazon :)
