A Simple, Accessible & Healthy Breakfast

The ingredients: Alpro Almond Milk; Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice, Avocado, Kenco Millicano Coffee Granules, Two Slices of Bread

The After-Math: Tah-Dah! You're All Done!

My mum just did her 'big food shop' last night and so I knew that I'd have a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables to work with this morning for my breakfast! I decided to opt for a simple, healthy and accessible breakfast with the main focus being the avocado that I could take lots of pictures of and easily write up a post.

First thing to do is boil the kettle for your coffee and put your bread in the toaster so that you've got your timing right.

I started off with a small(ish) avocado and used a knife to cut through the top and in a circle around the fruit's seed so that it opens in half. The best way to get the actual edible part out of the avocado is to remove the seed and then use a tablespoon, or any big spoon, to scoop out the beautiful green part.

Once the kettle has boiled, add your coffee and any sugar to your cup and use almond milk as an alternative to normal cow's milk. I do like cow's milk, however, if your skin is prone to acne, it is not the best thing to be consuming so try switching to almond or hazelnut milk and see if this makes any difference to your complexion. This tip has really been an unbelievable help for my skin!

Pour yourself a little cup, or in my case a jam jar, full of fruit juice! Spread the avocado on your freshly toasted bread and you are ready for whatever the day throws at you!
